Introduction to UX Design

User experience design is a core skill of any team, not just the UX team. The experience of a product or service is designed through effective cross-functional collaboration, using insights from psychology, anthropology, sociology, and design to craft the best possible set of interactions. Everyone on a team should be familiar with how this process works.

This workshop aims to present the key thinking behind user experience design through a mix of lecture and in-class activities. Participants will learn about topics such as user research, usability, information architecture, sketching, wireframing, and prototyping, along with how non-designers can begin to incorporate a designer’s mindset in their own work.
